Sunset in Kiribati a short while ago. With the setting of the sun over this island nation, the Festival of the Twin Birthdays of the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh has now commenced. In this historic year marking the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh, celebrations of millions of people will span 72 hours globally from the first to the last sunset, concluding in Hawaii on 22 October.
